How many weeks after fractured fibular do I see
A physical therapist?
This is a great question. Fractures in general take 6-8 weeks to heal. If you did not have surgery to place a pin or plate to fixate the bone than most doctors will wait six weeks to initiate PT. If surgery was performed PT generally will start earlier, frequently at week four. Of course each doctor is different. Some may take x-rays and let your healing rate determine the best time to start physical therapy.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
